Red/white flashing before or during heat cycle (chamber connection error)

When starting, or during, a heat cycle the device begins flashing red/white/red/white and won’t heat up or stops heating unexpectedly.

Step-by-step

Step 1: Reseat the chamber

Remove the chamber, then reattach it firmly.

Step 2: Swab the chamber and base connection

Clean the bottom of the Chamber, and the battery's connection point with a cotton swab soaked in 91%+ isopropyl alcohol. Once you've cleaned both, reattach, and attempt to run a heat cycle again.

Step 3: Deep clean the chamber and baase

Submerge the chamber in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol for ~30 minutes, then remove and let it air-dry completely. Swab the chamber connection area on the base, ensuring there's no oils left in the chamber as this could cause connection issues.

Step 4: Retry a heat cycle

Once the chamber has dried, reattach, and try a heat cycle again.

Step 5: Reset your Pivot

If the issue persists please try resetting the device. Start by removing the chamber, then press the button 6 times, once the light stops flashing orange reattach the chamber and attempt to run a heat cycle again.
